In an effort to help these people– who have left their homes to flee even worse conditions, including violence and profound poverty– the El Paso Community Foundation has made grants to the following community organizations, who are leaders in these efforts, and we encourage you to do the same. The Border Art Residency offers a selected artist a period of retreat for creative work in a living/studio space in the heart of El Paso, Texas. Resident artists are provided with a fully furnished living/working space, a monthly stipend, and utilities paid.
