Community Foundation Updates

As the federal spending shutdown continues, thousands of El Paso families may face the loss of their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits — a vital resource that helps them put food on the table. The El Paso Community Foundation has activated its El Paso Community Debit Card Program to provide direct support for those most affected. The Foundation is investing to distribute prepaid debit cards through trusted nonprofit partners, ensuring that food and essential items reach those in need as quickly as possible.
