Support Children's Education in Juarez through Arrow Outreach

The El Paso Community Foundation is proud to partner with Arrow Outreach to support children and education in Ciudad Juarez.

The fund will help children continue their educations. The Mexican government does not require children to be educated past the 6th grade. Many students in Juarez can’t afford the tuition, which costs around $500. Most students between the ages of 10 to 16 drop out to work and support their families.

The aim of the Arrow Outreach Fund is to bridge that education gap.

Arrow Outreach is a faith-based Texas nonprofit from the Dallas area that operates on the outskirts of Juarez. Founded in 1992 by Rich and Cheryl Mackey, Arrow Outreach works to break the cycles of generational poverty by improving the lives of children, families, and communities through scholarships, community development, skills training and more.

When Arrow Outreach leadership looked throughout Texas for a partner, they targeted the El Paso Community Foundation because they know their wishes will be carried out.
