Currently, Borderland 100 Club is reaching out to our El Paso Community to help in supporting the family of one of our own fallen first responders. Texas DPS Special Agent Anthony Salas was killed in an accident near Eagle Pass, Texas while conducting joint tactical operations with the United States Border Patrol’s BORTAC unit. Texas DPS Special Agent Salas is survived by his wife and three children. Special Agent Salas was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He had served with the Texas Department of Public Safety for nine years and was assigned to the Special Operations Group.

Borderland 100 works with all first responder departments to ensure that 100% of funds will be used to assist first responders and their families in times of great need.

The Borderland 100 Club supports all city, county, state, federal and tribal public safety agencies, fire services, probation, corrections, parole, and law enforcement departments who provide for the safety of the citizens of El Paso County. As a 501(c)(3), The Borderland 100 Club is dedicated to standing behind the men and women who stand behind the badge. 100 Clubs across the nation provide assistance to public safety agencies, officers, firefighters, EMT/Paramedics, and their families.

Borderland 100 Club has committed to granting $10,000 to the families of fallen first responders. The group has given out over $100k since starting in 2020. In the last week alone in the wake of COVID, the organization has granted three line-of-duty grants and is asking for your support to maintain our 100% grant approval rating and continue to uphold our promise to support our first responder community.
