The Down Syndrome Coalition for El Paso (DSCEP) is a supporting organization of the El Paso Community Foundation that is creating a better world for all individuals with special needs through education, advocacy and support. The DSCEP and EPCF provide resources and support for these families. The DSC will host several events to highlight October as Down Syndrome Awareness Month and we are kicking it off early this weekend!
DSCEP Annual Symposium is this Saturday! A once-a-year educational event that provides families the opportunity to learn more about Down syndrome, health initiatives, and future opportunities from guest speakers of various expertise and backgrounds. The event will take place Sat., Sep. 24 from 10 AM – 4 PM at Radisson Airport (Venetian Grand Ballroom and Atrium) 1770 Airway Blvd.
The Whole Hog is Oct. 1 at Keepa’s Park Santa Teresa, NM. Not only will there be amazing food, there will be also be live music, a cornhole tournament and great raffle prizes. Funds raised will go to supporting Every Little Blessing Preschool and other programs of the DSCEP.

The Buddy Walk is back in person Oct. 15, 2022, at EPCC Valle Verde Campus. The Buddy Walk is an annual fundraising event that spreads awareness and inclusion for individuals with Down syndrome. All are welcome to show support for this cause.
