The momentum to make Castner Range a national monument is building! On Earth Day, U.S. Representative Veronica Escobar introduced legislation to help the growing effort to have the former militaring firing range declared a national monument.

She announced the Castner Range National Monument Act at a news conference at the El Paso Community Foundation’s Foundation Room, which was attended by representatives of the Frontera Land Alliance, Franklin Mountains Wilderness Coalition, the Nuestra Tierra Conservation Project, and the El Paso Community Foundation.
