Started in 2015 in partnership with the office of then U.S. Representative Beto O’Rourke, the El Paso Community Foundation established the International 10K as a celebration of our binational community. Each fall, the race takes runners past hot spots in Downtown El Paso, over an international bridge and around iconic features in Ciudad Juárez.
The International 10K showcases the unique greatness of the largest borderland in the world. It illustrates how one community, united by an international boundary line, blends itself into one region. The race attracts more than 1,000 runners and brings positive attention to our border and our sister city.
