Elsa and Antonio Piña are talented El Paso based artists that care not only about El Paso, but the future of the entire planet. The Elsa and Antonio Piña Family Environmental Fund supports organizations that align with the United Nations sustainable environmental goals to meet the needs of the present while fostering a sustainable and resilient future for future generations and the planet.
Piña says, “I’m giving my artwork away to save the Earth. The climate crisis is a horrific reality, entirely human caused. Children are growing up wondering whether the planet will quickly become incapable to sustain life in all its beautiful forms. It is an injustice, but the solution is human led and possible. It will take moral courage, not hope, a radical vision for the future where everyone does their part.”
The upcoming fundraising exhibition includes 56 original works. The sale of artwork proceeds will go into the Elsa & Antonio Piña Family Environmental Fund, all tax deductible, at the El Paso Community Foundation.
