Eddie Ramirez was a lifelong El Pasoan who dedicated his career to serving his community. Eddie, also known as “Lurch” by his fellow firefighters, was devoted to his profession. He was always ready to answer the call and pushed others to strictly adhere to physical training both on and off duty. He was a jokester, always had the biggest grin and funny stories to share.

Eddie was also an extremely dedicated family man. He was the best father to his two sons and spent every day playing, wrestling, sneaking in ice cream trips and sharing his passion for off-roading with them. This memorial fund will serve to keep Eddie’s memory alive and perpetuate his love of staying active and healthy for the benefit of his fellow El Paso firefighters.
