Clare Dunn

Like many people around the world, Nashville singer-songwriter Clare Dunn (Move On, Tuxedo, Salt and Lime) was so moved by the senseless mass shooting that occurred in El Paso on August 3, 2019 that she decided to do something about it. She wrote the tribute song El Paso, one of six tracks on her new Honestly, A Personal Collection EP, out now on Big Yellow Dog Music). The song includes references to local landmarks. Check it out here.

The Colorado-raised, Nashville-based singer-songwriter is known for her transfixing live shows, powerful vocals, and unparalleled guitar playing. As part of CMT’s 2019 Next Women of Country Tour, Clare took her “big voice” (The Boston Globe) on the road with Hannah Ellis and Cassadee Pope across the United States. She “can do it all” (CMT) with “swaggering confidence and soulful vocals” (Rolling Stone), which caught the attention of rock legend Bob Seger, who, after hearing her sound check only once, invited her to open his Ride Out Tour. Clare has been named “One to Watch” by USA Today, Billboard, The Boston Globe and Rolling Stone. “If there were ever an artist suited to play amphitheaters and arenas at this early stage of her career, it’s Clare Dunn,” declared Rolling Stone.
