Several of you have commented on wanting to honor our classmates who have passed away. While I definitely think we should have a display at the reunion for all of them, you can also honor them now by giving to the Coronado High School Class of 88 Scholarship Fund through the El Paso Community Foundation (EPCF).

As you probably recall, we had roughly $1,000 in a bank account after our 10th and 20th reunion. In 2008, this money was given to the EPCF to establish a scholarship fund on behalf of our class. Our idea was to be able to grow the fund so that both the income and the principal could be distributed in the form of scholarships to future CHS grads.

Currently, our balance in this fund is just under $4,800.

Wouldn’t it be great if we could grow this amount and offer our first scholarship to a 2018 grad in honor of our classmates who have passed away?

If you would like to make a tax deductible gift, please do!

THANK YOU in advance on behalf of all the T-Birds - past, present, and future - who will be honored by your donation.
