Marge was an educator with a sweet disposition who loved people, family, and travel. She graduated from El Paso Technical Institute in 1951 and worked as a secretary for an architectural firm. She married the love of her life, Earl Kimmel, in 1963. After graduating from the University of Texas at El Paso in 1983 with a bachelor’s degree in English, Marge taught English and humanities at Lincoln Middle School.

They were charter members of the Plaza Theatre StarKeepers support organization. With Earl by her side, Marge conducted tours of the historic theater for several years. She was a member of the El Paso Community Foundation board, its program and grants committee, its Classroom Fund grant review committee, and an enthusiastic supporter of its Plaza Classic Film Festival.
Marge was preceded in death by her husband Earl, sister Herlinda Collins, brother Fernando Garcia, and parents Santos and Esther Ramos. She is survived by sister Esther Goselin (John Goselin) of Canadaqua, NY, and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nephews and nieces, and great grand nephews.
