Pig out at The Whole Hog

March 29, 2018
Pig out at The Whole Hog

Pig out — for a good cause — at the third annual The Whole Hog FUNdraiser and barbecue from 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at Keepa’s Park, adjacent to the Southwest Animal Care Complex, 1111 Country Club Road in Santa Teresa, N.M.

Doors open at 3 p.m., with BBQ carving beginning at 5:30 p.m. Four whole hogs, turkey, sausage, brisket, ribs and chicken legs will be barbecued, and there will be plenty of other vittles for folks (including vegetarians) to eat. TradeCraft will serve a special Whole Hog signature cocktail.

The soiree will include a corn hole tournament at 4:30 p.m., music by Dusty Low and Rod Crosby and the Intruders, and a raffle. Prizes include two grills (one valued at more than $7,000) and a week’s stay at a condo in Breckenridge, Colorado.

The Whole Hog is a fundraiser for the Down Syndrome Coalition For El Paso, a supporting organization of the El Paso Community Foundation, and the Every Little Blessing preschool for children with Down syndrome and learning disabilities.

Tickets for The Whole Hog are $100, available at epcf.org/give or by calling 915-875-0510.
